Business Analyst - MiFID2

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Core-Asset Consulting's client, a leading asset manager, has an opening for a Business Analyst with MiFID2 experience to join their Edinburgh-based team on a six month contract. The successful candidate will have regulatory knowledge and prior experience of projects tasked with delivering regulatory data feeds, such as Solvency II, MiFID/MiFID2, or AIFMD.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Adhere to business analyst responsibilities under the established project management methodology and software development life cycle
- Work with Operations and IT to define the scope and requirements
- Carry out methodical investigation, analysis and documentation of all or part of a business process
- Document specification for the construction of information systems by the technology department
- Deliver requirements as an integral part of the project delivery team and use business expertise to provide guidance to business and IT colleagues as required

CORE REQUIREMENTS:

- Educated to degree level with relevant professional qualifications desirable (eg BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis)
- MiFID2 experience highly desirable
- Business Analysis experience within asset management/financial services
