Business Analyst - Mifid II Advisory - Zurich - Contract

For our client in the banking sector in Zurich we are looking for a BUSINESS ANALYST - MIFID II ADVISORY.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Eliciting, analysing, developing, validating and managing project-spanning requirements during the whole project life cycle
- Achieving a clear understanding of business goals and needs within the context of business processes
- Taking ownership and responsibility for all relevant end-to-end RE deliverables
- Working closely with the business partners and the IT team and supporting other roles in their activities
- Closely collaborating with the Requirements Manager of the MiFID II program
- Acting as a trusted advisor to the business partners
- Reviewing end-to-end related high-level design and test cases to ensure alignment to requirements
- Identifying areas for improvement (in process/product/project) and works to implement changes

IDEAL PROFILE:

- At least 5 years of experience as a business engineer or a requirements engineer
- Academic degree (Masters, Bachelor) in economics, computer science or similar
- Profound theoretical and practical financial know-how
- Experience using requirements engineering tools and methods (eg Use Case modelling, UML)
- Experience with iterative project methodology
- Strong and accurate analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work with different stakeholders and project roles
- Self-motivated, flexible and initiative personality with the ability to learn quickly
- Readiness to take over some responsibility and leadership roles
- Fluent English and German language skills
