Business Analyst - Marketing & Pricing Job

BUSINESS ANALYST - PRICING AND MARKETING needed for a CONTRACTopportunity with Yoh's client located in St Louis, Missouri.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- The position requires knowledge of pricing and marketing, computer system capabilities, business processes, and workflow diagramming
- Previous work experience with marketing and pricing systems

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Interacting successfully as part of a team with software developers, technical architects, test engineers, and support personnel to develop requirements and produce innovative, high quality products.
- The successful candidate will develop a thorough and direct understanding of supported business functions, will develop relationships within the technical and business teams, and will drive product development.
- This position will work in a liaison relationship with our multi-functional, multi-crop Technology and Commercial organizations, as well as our information technology organization.
- Working directly with business partners to define and document workflow requirements, design processes, define limitations, define success metrics, develop and implement solutions.
- Coordinating and contributing within all areas of the project life cycle from planning, development, and production implementation through post-implementation support.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Understanding of IBM Blueworks, Microsoft Office products including Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Proven ability to interface comfortably at various levels of the organization.
- Ability to influence others and drive toward consensus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to understand the opportunities, identify systems solutions, and define requirements for software development.
- Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in team communication and working as an effective team member.

Bonus Points!

- MBA, MS or PhD in Computer Science, MIS/IS
- Experience with IBM Blueworks, Microsoft Office products including Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of biotechnology or commercial agricultural seed product management.
- Experience working in an Agile environment and as part of a scrum team.
- Understanding of relational databases and query tools.
