Business Analyst Market Risk

For our customer in Zurich we are looking for a
Market Risk IT Business Analyst/Project Manager
Key responsibilities:
- to undertake requirement analysis and delivery of a new project which is driven by a set of new regulatory requirements in Switzerland. The successful candidate will work closely with the business and IT stakeholders, project managers, delivery leads and other projects/programmes distributed across regions to specify requirements and related process changes for the implementation of IT solutions and coordinate UAT testing and business Roll-out. In depth knowledge of risk data processing concepts and business data content is required along with a broad knowledge across capital markets products. In addition a sound knowledge of complex IT architecture in the area of risk data management (staging, validation, transformation and publishing) is required.
Key deliverables:
- Have 5+ years in Financial Services and must have Investment Banking products experience
- Strong Business Analysis skills, including gathering requirements, data analysis, writing functional specifications, testing
- Experience in Project Management of small to medium sized projects.
- Be a self-starter, show initiative and a strong sense of ownership.
- Real world experience in working on large and complex projects in the area of Market spanning regions
- Strong Risk Management background, in particular Market Risk - GARP or PRMIA certification is a plus
- In depth knowledge of Risk Management process along with a broad knowledge across capital markets products
- Good data modelling and data analysis skills
- Experience with tools for business analysis, change and defect management
- Experience in defining and executing test plans and managing defects and defect resolution
- Excellent communication skills
- University Degree in IT and/or Finance/Economics/Business Administration
- Fluent in English, German is a plus
