For a 6 month project at our banking client site in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced
BUSINESS ANALYST - MARGIN RULES PROGRAM (3580)
You will be within the Finance Change organization and deliver regulatory driven projects. In this team you'll have the objective to deliver a strategic solution within the Margin Rules Program, which meets the BCBS/ISCO requirements documented in BCBS261. Therefore a strategic reporting solution has to be established as well as a proper sourcing from upstream systems.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- Appropriate business education within the financial accounting and the regulatory reporting subject
- Comprehensive understanding of business processes and corresponding IT solutions for full month end processing
- Strong business acumen and ability to quickly understand regulatory requirements and business strategy
- SEVERAL YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THE FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING AND REGULATORY REPORTING ENVIRONMENT
- Technical knowledge including Data Warehousing (SQL) and experience of regulatory reporting tools
- TRACK RECORD OF WORKING AS A BUSINESS ANALYST IN THE BANKING ARENA OF FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING AND REGULATORY REPORTING
- EXCELLENT SPOKEN AND WRITTEN ENGLISH, German would be a benefit
- Strong relationship building and consultation skills as well as an ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with peers, management, key stakeholders and clients
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Analysis and gathering of requirements from a reporting and sourcing perspective
- Liaise with the upstream data provider to ensure additional requirements are reflected accordingly
- Drive change with SMEs and IT contacts and coordinate project delivery to ensure that the needs of business stakeholders are met on time in budget and quality.
- Drive overall work stream delivery to ensure that all requirements are addressed
- Working jointly with IT and business organizations to implement effective business solutions.
