PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAMME

Our client, a major UK retail bank, require the services of a Business Analyst to help build Management Information reports as part of the divestment programme.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

- Enable the MI build for Legacy Mortgage Operations/MI Centre of Excellence teams, to enable both the replication of the relevant MI reports required in the divestment team, and to ensure the same reports in the divested business continue to be produced to the same standards in terms of service (accuracy & timeliness).
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve the current MI suite through streamlining, automation and process improvements. Use strategic analytical tools such as Excel, VB, Access, SAS, SQL, Business Objects etc to develop solutions.
- Build MI solutions and amend existing MI service to reflect the requirements of the business.
- Innovate existing reporting to enhance our ability to provide deep insight into our customers businesses.
- Develop innovative solutions to requests for new MI using strong technical skills to deliver leading edge reporting which delights customers and enhances our service.
- Share skills, thinking and experience with colleagues to support a Continuous Improvement ethos.

CORE SKILLS

- Numerate with a good understanding of advanced analytical techniques.
- Possess an innovative approach to problem solving.
- Detailed technical knowledge & experience working with of Excel, PowerPoint, Access, VB, SAS, SQL, Business Objects, MI scheduling and production essential

- Good organisational skills, able to prioritise and deliver multiple, time constrained pieces of work
- Excellent work ethic, committed, enthusiastic and driven to succeed.
- Ability to take MI requirements and into commercially focussed, value adding & innovative MI solutions
- Experience in an analytical role
- Proven track record in commercially successful MI development
- Proven ability working in a high performing team with demonstrable value adding MI outputs
