Business Analyst - Major Oil & Gas Venture - (P4)

A global IT services provider is currently seeking an accomplished Business Analyst to work alongside a major Oil & Gas venture identifying and documenting technical requirements and providing innovative solutions to address the project's complex business needs.

The successful candidate will responsible for the following activities:

Specification of technical requirements in accordance with set methodologies
 Functional and non functional requirements gathering
 Preparation of use case and functional specifications
 Working alongside development professionals to design technical, application solutions
 Defining current and future operational scenarios including processes, models and plans

The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record in delivering business solutions for major Oil & Gas projects. They will be highly adept in the identification of workflow processes, document data processing requirements and elicitation and definition of both technical and non technical requirements. You will be a proven negotiator with excellent presentation and communication skills.

Desirable experience

Experience within a maintenance operations environment is preferred along with a core understanding of the Oil & Gas sector.
 Experience within the tracking and accounting of hydrocarbon quantities and qualities throughout the production process
 Understanding of accessing and validating Real Time data produced by process control systems.
