A market leader based in South Cheshire is seeking a Business Analyst (Magento Implementation) for an initial 3 month contract.

They distribute high value electronic goods on a global scale.

A Business Analyst is required to interface with a major blue chip UK supermarket, on a high profile web development project. The solution is going to be built using Magento so my client needs to see experience of similar projects, using Magento - this is a must for this role.

The client requires this experience as they have a set of loose business requirements and we need a Business Analyst to work with the end user to develop functional Magento specifications, therefore it is essential that the BA we hire has "under the bonnet" knowledge of the specific Magento product.

This client is building a transactional E-commerce solution for one of the UK's biggest supermarket brands, so previous Business Analyst experience and exposure to eliciting requirements and stakeholder management for the delivery of software solutions is required. Clearly understanding what the deliverables need to be and insights into the capabilities of the Magento platform.

Key Skills: In order of importance

1) Strong experience of running requirement life cycles

2) Experience of working as a Business Analyst in a Magento implementation.

3) Experience of supporting a Project Manager on planning and steering the requirements life cycle (suggesting templates, processes and stages)

4) Requirements gathering/elicitation (hosting workshops/interviews, etc), capturing and tracking requirements actions.

5) Producing clear and concise requirement documentation, including business, functional and non functional requirements.

6) Strong customer facing skills

7) Working closely with development teams and suppliers, including building sustainable relationships

8 ) Working in both Agile and Waterfall environments

9) Producing project artifact that is relevant to both Agile and Waterfall methodologies

10) Supporting QA processes (system test and UAT)
