Permanent Business Analyst - Lloyd's of London Market

This Business Analyst position is with a leading Lloyd's of London Insurer who is expanding their Change and Project Delivery team.

This role requires an individual with solid Business Analysis experience having worked on a variety of projects within the Lloyds Market.

You will be required to work to tight deadlines and strict budgets, and have ideally had experience of during this under various Project Management and Business Analysis methodologies.

As a Business Analyst you will work closely with numerous teams internally, in order to gather requirements and work on business process improvements across both business and technology.

Responsibilities will include:

Develop Business Cases, Define Requirements, Perform Cost Benefit Analysis, Improve Business Processes, Investigate situations (workshops/brain-storming), Management of Stakeholders (conflicts / negotiation/ interpretation), Realise Strategies, Recommend & Evaluate Options, Review Business Benefits, Support the IT systems development lifecycle and Play a key role in driving and promoting Business Analysis best practice across Talbot.

Required experience:

Experience of project management methodologies, e.g. PRINCE2, APMP etc.

Solid experience of Business Analysis (ISEB Diploma in Business Analysis is desirable)

Excellent communication skills (written, oral) with all levels of staff.

Ability to self-manage but awareness of when it is necessary to escalate to involve senior managers on key issues.

Proven ability to translate business requirements into innovative solutions

Strong organisational and business awareness

Solid end-to-end Systems Development Lifecycle experience

Good understanding of Business Process Modelling e.g. BPMN

Good understanding of Business Intelligence

Good understanding of Workflow

Good understanding of UML

Lloyds Market Insurance knowledge

Underwriting applications knowledge (exposure to Subscribe and advantage)

Salary - 55 - 60k plus benefits package and bonus
