For a project at our client's site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced

BUSINESS ANALYST - LIQUIDITY & FUNDING/IFRS9 (4708)

In this role, you'll be responsible for implementing changes to models and reports required as a result of the implementation of IFRS9 with effect from 1 January 2018. The models and reports affected are those used for external L&F regulatory reporting, including Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR), Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR), Additional Liquidity Monitoring Tools (ALMTs) as well as internal L&F models.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

- 7+ YEARS WORKING EXPERIENCE AS A BUSINESS ANALYST TO A SIGNIFICANT DATA SET AND IT CHANGE EXPERIENCE
- ADVANCED BUSINESS OBJECTS END-USER EXPERIENCE (or advanced end-user skill established in a similar reporting tool - training for particular BO Web Intelligence reporting setup will be provided)
- EXCELLENT MICROSOFT EXCEL, WORD & POWERPOINT SKILLS
- QUALIFIED OR PART-QUALIFIED ACCOUNTANT
- PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN BANKING (especially with Balance Sheet and Securities Financing Transactions) would be an advantage
- Experience with Oracle databases including SQL queries

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Obtaining an in depth understanding of the changes to the ledger as a result of IFRS9 implementation
- For each model and report, identification of the detailed impacts of the IFRS9 changes
- Working with model and report owners to ensure they are updated to incorporate IFRS9 changes
- System Testing of models and reports to ensure the results are in line with expectations
- Ensuring smooth transition of the models and reports/outputs on implementation of IFRS9
- Documentation and reporting of project progress
