Business Analyst - Life Claims Project - 12mnth Fixed term

A leading Financial Services company based in Sydney CBD is seeking a Business Analyst to join their close knit team. The role requires the ideal candidate to work on a high profile Life Claims Project whilst working closely with colleagues in Toronto in an Agile environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Analysis of business requirements in order to assess and/or design appropriate system solutions and prepare detailed specifications.
- Preparation of detailed test scripts and testing of applications and interfaces to ensure compliance with specifications and integrity of process.
- Preparation of training materials, documentation, guidelines and exercises for business applications.
- Provision of training and support in business applications to both users and IT
- Business process mapping, design or re-engineering to align with both business requirements and system functionality
- Project Management of the implementation of system (process) recommendations, according to deadlines and budgets and based on project management methodology. This may incorporate management of budgets, resources, reporting, testing and commercial business delivery.

SKILLS

- 5+ years Business Analysis experience
- LIFE INSURANCE experience, preferably in the Claims space
- Experience project work, ideally Agile projects
- Excellent communication skills
