Business Analyst, CONTRACT - Dublin or Guernsey 6 months +
Our client is looking for the Business Analyst to join their team either in Dublin or Guernsey.
The role requires a candidate with extensive experience of Production Support on Unit Linked Policy Administration Systems, and in the process having built up significant knowledge of Unit Linked Products and Processes. The candidates experience will allow them to operate in a senior lead role with immediate effect.
Essential experience:
*Experience in the Life Assurance industry is mandatory, and the technologies used to support business lines are essential eg SQL, LIFE400 (AS400 type system), Cobol, SAP
*Experience with Unit Linked products - mandatory
*Extensive experience in a similar role covering eg
o Analysing problems, including root cause analysis,
o Defining possible solutions/rectification,
o Implementing scripts and code/data fixes,
o Test Planning, Scripting, Testing and documenting results,
o Liaising with 3rd party Supplier for system changes,
o Running and supporting Mid and End of Days and any associated issues
o Identifying trends in the source of issues and proposing actions to address
o Regression testing (utilising automated tools)
o System performance testing
o Develop effective supporting processes and procedures
o Appreciation of complimentary disciplines (eg programming, database administration
