On behalf of our client, a leading financial institution based in Zurich, Swisslinx is urgently seeking an IT Business Analyst to work within Legal, Compliance and Regulatory Reporting.

Are you looking for a challenging and versatile contract role within the financial industry?

In this contract, you will be working for the Corporate Service Technology division to work across the full software development life cycle to support Corporate Systems technology projects within the Legal & Compliance space that impact the firm globally.

This includes responsibilities such as analysing and gathering business requirements for Position Limit Monitoring and Information Barrier applications in close interaction with various business areas and IT, providing requirements documentation to drive development activities, analysing the impact of changes with regards to timelines and deliverables (incl. analysis & resolution of potential problems), writing SQL queries (data analysis), creating systems models/specifications/diagrams and charts, as well as assisting in developing & implementing test strategies/plans/cases to ensure the traceability of the requirements.

In order to be considered for this position, we are looking for an analytical and communicative individual with the following skills:

- 5+ years of BA experience with a leading financial services providers
- Strong understanding of Legal & Compliance functions, mainly around Position Limit Monitoring, certain Regulatory Reporting and Monitoring of Information Barriers
- Broad knowledge of financial services industry with a focus on Securities, Trades and Positions
- Ability to think and act globally with strong awareness of cross divisional challenges
- Solid with SQL Queries for Data Analysis
- Excellent communication skills in English
