Business Analyst - KYC

My client based in mid-town Manhattan are currently recruiting for a KYC Business Analyst on a contract basis - 6 months to perm. This is a full time position. The Business Analyst role will take on Know your Customer/ customer due diligence (KYC/CDD) and Anti-Money Laundering duties. Core Business Analyst Skills/Requirements: -Strong KYC/ Compliance knowledge -Willingness to travel -Ability to use excel -Gathering of Buisness Requirements, -Design Process -Generating reports, tracking files -Ability to roll up sleeves and get the job done Business Analyst Principal Accountabilities include: Research and Validation of customer identification data/evidence using appropriate internal and external data sources. Ensure customers classified in line with required regulations and sanctions. Review new and existing counterparties, ensuring that verification documentation is maintained and escalated when appropriate through dedicated reporting lines. Assist with the developing compliance monitoring and procedures as new rules and legislation are introduced. Help to ensure staff receive all necessary compliance and AML training Assist in the development of the Counterparty KYC/CDD database The successful Business Analyst candidate should have: Experience in an AML/KYC role within the financial services sector Able to demonstrate strong technical knowledge of KYC/CDD, AML and Sanctions policies/procedures Be comfortable working autonomously and within a small team Demonstrate excellent analytical skills and problem solving Anti Money Laundering experience preferred
