Business Analyst, Junior/Mid-Level, Banking, Brussels

My client is a large international bank looking for a Junior/Mid-Level Business Analyst to work on a variety of projects being launched in the area of Settlement.

Tasks:

To produce detailed business requirements: 
- understand the needs of the business (internal and external users); 
- analyze the impact and the risks of a new service development on the current business/system and are able to make the business aware of their own interests and the implications of their decision or request; 
- identify, describe and validate business solutions to meet clients and end users requirements; 
- pay attention to having the right trade-off between quality, cost and timeliness.
- as the interface between the business and IT, you willfacilitate communications between the tow sides during the project delivery phase

To be involved in the testing of the solution you haveanalysed/designed: 
- define the scope of the testing; 
- develop detailed business scenarios and test cases; 
- participate to the test execution handled by testers to ensure that requirements have been correctly implemented; 
- provide support to the users (Operations) during the user acceptance test

Skills: 
You should have some knowledge of Back Office Operations: 
Settlements,Excellent ability to analyse, collaborate, report, communicate and prepare documentation.

Ideally you will have worked at a bank on large, complex projects with many stakeholders. Candidates who have worked in banking/finance in Benelux already will have a small advantage.

Minimum 3 years experience.
