Business Analyst Job

BUSINESS ANALYST III needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Portland, Oregon.

THE BIG PICTURE:

- This is a hands on position and requires a tech savoy person

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Six (6) plus years of experience as a Business Analyst in an agile environment.
- Project experience with externally facing web sites.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Responsible for preparing requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations in compliance with standards, policies and methodologies.
- Gather and synthesize functional and non-functional business requirements ensuring alignment to business strategy.
- Execute gap analyses between business requirements and best practices.
- Develop business cases, process and business test strategy, case, and execution.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related.
- A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization
- Resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways.
- Problem solver of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
- Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Must have agile BA experience.
- We need a second agile BA to work on our Web Fitness project which is a modernization of our externally facing web sites.
- Must be on-site to interview ready to start as soon as possible

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Six (6) years of experience in business analysis or process development role.
- Bachelor's degrees in business, finance, or related.
- Power and Energy industry knowledge is a big plus.
