Business Analyst Job

BUSINESS ANALYST needed for a LONG TERM CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Charlotte, NC.

Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Hands On experience writing SQL in a Microsoft SQL Server environment
- Hands On experience writing SQL in an Oracle environment
- Experience developing reports in Microsoft Reporting Services
- Experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence Developer Studio(BIDS)
- Experience with Toad and other Oracle friendly reporting tools.
- Experience analysing business problems through data analysis
- Must be able to present analysis to all levels of management

What You'll Be Doing:
- The primary responsibilities include researching business reporting and analytics needs, documenting business requirements.
- Understanding data integration designs and translating the requirements into test/validation plans.
- This role will also include executing test plans by validating data loads and running SQL quires for validation.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Understands Entity Relationship Diagrams and database design concepts
- Minimum seven to eight (7-8) years of experience with IT projects MS SQL Server and Oracle
- MSRS and other MS business Intelligence background
- Familiar with ETL processes
- Microsoft BI tools will also be used such as Microsoft Reporting Services, PowerPivot, and PowerView.
- Must be able to write/run ad hoc queries against MS and Oracle databases as well as troubleshoot MSRS reports/dashboards.
- Experience with application testing and data validation techniques.

Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with IVR and/or Call Routing data/analytics is a plus
