Business Analyst - IT Security

Business Analyst - IT Security wanted for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- Degree in Computer Science, Management, related field or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in security event and log management on operation systems, database, Middleware and application levels
- Knowledge of business analysis techniques, software development life cycle, threat intelligence analysis and industry SIEM platforms such as Splunk, ArcSight and QRadar
- Industry best practice qualifications eg CBAP, IREP, CISSP, GIAC is an advantage
- Ability to focus on reducing business risk through the application of detection and prevention capabilities
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken

YOUR TASKS:

- Analysing IT Security Requirements like Log data and translating results to Use Cases, to be implemented in the SIEM system in global projects
- Translating complex security requirements into technical Use Case Specifications and User Stories for security engineering
- Identifying and collecting required data from stakeholders and preparing technical documentation
- Conducting requirements-gathering activities, such as evaluating services and stakeholder interviews
- Supporting the Security engineers by describing requirements as well as assisting in quality control and project management
