BUSINESS ANALYST - IT OPERATIONS SERVICES/INFRASTRUCTURE SOLUTIONS (M/F)
Business Analyst - IT Operations Services/Infrastructure solutions (m/f) wanted for a project in Zurich, Switzerland.
THE PROJECT: The service center provides infrastructure solutions according to requirements of the stakeholders, corporate standards and security compliance.
YOUR TASKS:
- Development of requirements, design of solutions and deployment strategies in the field of Resource Monitoring capabilities for bank's IT infrastructure and applications
- Technical evaluation through the development of relevant requirements
- Documentation of various technical initiatives to produce solution designs and definition of deployment strategies
- Delivery of a new system monitoring solution in the bank, spanning a 50,000+ server estate, as well as replacement of several in-house tools
- Integration with further Event Management and Incident Management systems
- Analysis, documentation, priorization, specification of requirements, ensurement of a common understanding between business/stakeholders and IT/Project
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Excellent MS Office skills. Experience in Requirement Management tools as well as in the banking/financial sector is beneficial (eg JIRA, HP-Quality Center)
- Fair understanding of IT infrastructure management and monitoring of IT systems. Prior experience in major monitoring products like CA-Nimsoft, BMC-Patrol or similar is nice to have
- Proactive, driven and energetic personality with a "can do" attitude and strong problem solving skills
- Experienced in working with subject matter experts, ability to communicate effectively with vendor and in-house teams to streamline the solution delivery according to project requirements
- Know how of event management process, including collection of performance data/metrics and life cycle for date, events/alerts
- Good process background, ITIL foundation certificate is beneficial
- Fluent in written and spoken English. German is beneficial
