For our banking client we are currently looking for a BUSINESS ANALYST - IT
Start date: 01/06/2017
Duration: 6 months
Location: Zurich
Your tasks:
- determine required IT business solutions and assist in implementing them
- conduct requirements-gathering activities, like evaluating services, using a variety of internal and external data and conducting stakeholder interviews
- support the business engineer by describing the business processes, including the organizational structures involved
- assist in quality control and project management
- identify people and systems impacted by functional and non-functional requirements
- understand cross stream dependencies
- ensure BRDs are produced by Business Stakeholders and available for the deliverable
- creates a F2B functional spec and/or design for the deliverable
- performs high level top-down assessment of deliverable impact across different streams and validates impact with stream leads
- is the deliverable IT SME and covers queries, design gaps or questions as necessary
- syndicates the design and requirements front-to-back to the stream leads and ensures there is agreement with the stream leads
The ideal candidate shall bring:
- banking, specially FX
- Regulatory (Clearing, Mifid, SEF...)
- IT (Unix, SQL, UML)
- Project Management
- experience applying business analysis techniques
- the ability to interpret a set of technical requirements
- knowledge of how to develop robust solutions
- an understanding of the software development life cycle
- strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills
- passionate about supporting the development of IT systems and applications
- technically savvy with an appreciation for IT capability
- adaptable, able to work across teams and functions
- fluent in English
