Business Analyst - Investments/Asset Management - OTC

Business Analyst with proven experience gained within the Investment/Asset Management Industry required to work with our Edinburgh based client on an initial 3 month contract.

The selected candidate will join a project dealing with business process changes relating to OTC Derivatives that must be implemented to comply with the European Market Infrastructure Regulations (EMIR) and corresponding US regulations (Dodd Frank Title VII).

This contractor will analyse the impact of Central Clearing Requirements under both Dodd Frank and EMIR regulations on our client's business model and define and implement a future state business model for monitoring/managing the performance impact.

To be considered for this role, applicants should have demonstrable experience of
* The Investment/Asset Management industry, particularly in relation to OTC Derivatives, Interest Rate, Credit and Equity derivatives; transactional flows and trade capture processes; Central Clearing processes; Collateral management processes; Trade reporting processes.
* Working closely with Front Office fund managers, and a proven ability to communicate effectively with fund managers at all levels of detail.
* Business Analysis skills including experience of
o Defining revised business models to reflect regulatory change, and supporting the introduction of these revised processes.
o Dealing with a wide range of senior stakeholders and third parties (brokers, clearing houses, regulators etc.).

Ideally you will also have a clear understanding and previous experience of the impacts of the EMIR and DF regulations in an Asset Management business.

This is a specialised role, requiring all of the above core experience.
