Business Analyst - Investment Platform - Intelligent Office - Contract

The Opportunity
Urgent contract opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst with in a Change team required to help with the migration of assets from an acquired business onto a new Platform. Experience of Platforms and IntelliFlo IO (Intelligent Office) are essential. Experience of business processes, valuations, 3rd party provider experience and commission management is also ideal.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work with stakeholders across required functional areas define and document specifications for systems, services and technical solutions through the project teams.
- Understand the business systems and processes to ensure the customer requests are in line with strategic objectives and ensure we design the best solution within the existing framework.
- To engage relevant representatives from Business Analysis, Development, Infrastructure, Testing and Business departments to ensure successful delivery of projects.
- To work in parallel to development and test teams, as a stakeholder, to ensure delivery to the expected quality.
- Liaise with external suppliers where needed in order to achieve project objectives
- To play an active role in the management and resolution of key issues and incidents across the business.

- A flexible approach, with the ability to take on tasks outside of defined remit to ensure project delivery
- Strong analytical skills, with ability to make decisions The ability to adapt own delivery in verbal, written and visual formats to the style of the individual or collective audience
- Ability to operate independently and take accountability for delivery of major projects
- Understanding of IT processes, systems architecture, service delivery, systems and technology development life cycles
- Understanding of the business and its systems, services and technologies
- Ability to develop network of contacts detailed knowledge in designated areas
- Supplier engagement - specifically outsourced development
- Good understanding of industry standards for IT processes and procedures ie COBIT or ITIL
