Business Analyst in Regulatory area (eg Fatca, AEI)

For our bank client we are looking for Business Analyst in regulatory area (eg FATCA, AEI)

START: ASAP

DURATION: 13 months

LOCATION: Zurich

As a Business Analyst in the area of Authority Reporting Tax, you will be engaged with finding solutions to business problems, the analysis of current processes and functionalities as well as with the generation of new software requirements specifications. During the development phases you will work closely together with your colleagues of the application development department and pursue a close cooperation with your 3rd party provider. Test-cases will be mainly engineered and executed by the dedicated testing-team, based on the acceptance criteria you have defined. Furthermore you develop subject matter expertise (SME) on the application and surrounding business processes.

Required skills:

- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Experience in Financial Services industry and good understanding of Reporting concepts
- Experience in taxation and regulatory topics (eg FATCA, AEI)
- Independent, systematic and structured approach and way of working (eg Use Cases, Activity Diagrams, UML, user interface design)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, technical flair
- Initiative acting and dedicated commitment as well as good communication skills and keen perception
- High awareness of quality and deadlines
- A very good command of German and English
