Business Analyst III

BUSINESS ANALYST III PORTLAND, OR CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY

This is a BA for the Real Time Dispatch Tool project to implement a new purchased tool. Will work with developers and clients to ensure the to-be state, application interface requirements and design work are completed to implement a solution that meets the needs of the business.

The Business Analyst III is responsible for:

- Preparing requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations in compliance with standards, policies and methodologies.
- Gathering and synthesizing functional and non-functional business requirements ensuring alignment to business strategy.
- Execution of gap analyses between business requirements and best practices.
- Development of business cases, process and business test strategy, case, and execution.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Min of 5-6 years of experience as a BA, or process development role
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related
- Follow through is crucial in this role
- Excellent communication skills (oral & written)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- History of building successful relationships (internal and external groups)
- Self-starter & proactive
