For a long-term project at our clients site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for a experienced

BUSINESS ANALYST - IFRS/US GAAP (4442)

The project is about new impairment guidance for credit losses mandated by FASB and IASB for accrual accounted financial instruments and off-balance sheet commitments, is expected to result in increased valuation allowances compared to current US GAAP and IFRS.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

- 7 - 10 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AS BUSINESS ANALYST WITHIN A SIMILAR ROLE IN THE FINANCIAL ENVIRONMENT
- STRONG EXPERIENCE IN IFRS OR US_GAAP ACCOUNTING TREATMENT
- Solid knowledge in banking products (Loans, SLB, Risk Models)
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Fluent in English

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for the gathering of Business Requirements, documentation of the Business Requirements including putting forward recommendations for solutions, where required
- Preparation of functional specifications and use cases for the delivery of the Business Requirements
- Preparation of Test Plans, Test Cases, Co-Ordinating with users and IT during the testing phase
- Execution of specific Test Cases
- Preparation of the documentation and steps for deployment, including user training where required

THERE WILL BE PERIODS WHERE EXTENDED WORKING HOURS AND/OR WEEKEND WORK WILL BE REQUIRED TO MEET DEADLINES.
