For an international financial institution in Zurich we are seeking a highly motivated professional to take up the following challenge:
BUSINESS ANALYST IFRS & GAAP (CONTRACT) - 5894
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Act as BUSINESS ANALYST within 2 major projects (IFRS & GAAP)
- GATHERING BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS
- Create DOCUMENTATION of business requirements including putting forward recommendations for solutions
- Write FUNCTIONAL SPECIFICATIONS and USE CASES
- Preparation of TEST PLANS, TEST CASES
- Co-ordinating with users and IT during the testing phase
- Execution of specific test cases
- Preparation of the documentation and steps for deployment
- Perform USER TRAINING where required
REQUIREMENTS
- DEGREE IN FINANCE/ACCOUNTING/IT (MBA (Finance)/CA/ICWA/CPA/ACCA)
- EXPERIENCE IN IFRS OR US_GAAP ACCOUNTING TREATMENT
- Very good analytical skills, problem solving skills and critical thinking
- Ability to work well under pressure, independently and show initiative
- Strong communication, organizational and negotiation skills
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Good team player
- Good knowledge in banking products (LOANS, SLB, RISK MODELS, etc.)
- Skills: PEOPLESOFT, SQL, MS ACCESS
- Good ENGLISH communication skills (MUST)
START: ASAP
DURATION: 6 months (extension possible)
RATE: CHF 800/day all inclusive
