The ideal Business Analyst will possess the following skills:
Experience as a Business Analyst in Asset Management
Strong knowledge of OTC and Exchange based Derivatives - Interest Rate Futures, Repos, Interest Rate Swaps, Total Return Swaps, Swaptions, CMBX, Overnight Index Swaps, Index Credit Default Swaps, Loans
Experience working with ICON is essential. CADIS/CALYPSO knowledge would be beneficial
Experience of data (provisioning) development projects
Experience in designing and organising business-focused testing and migration strategies
Key responsibilities of the Business Analyst will include:
Analysis and validation of data and business requirements, working with the client to clarify the correct interpretation and gain client signoff
Working with IT data architects to design and create a strategic solution to the data provisioning needs of the client
Creating test and migration plans as well as orchestrating and executing these plans in conjunction with IT and users
Undertake business analyst tasks as part of the project life cycle including the development of process maps, business requirement documents, functional specifications, test and business migration plans
Undertake implementation forward planning in association with the client, business users, programme workstream leads and IT
Proactive engagement in the development/execution of detailed delivery plans produced
Develop a good working relationship with users, team members and IT resources
