A global IT services provider is currently seeking an accomplished Business Analyst with an extensive track record in the Oil & Gas sector working within Hydrocarbon Accounting and Production Allocation. The core function of the role is to identify and document technical requirements and provide innovative solutions addressing the project's complex business needs.

The successful candidate will responsible for the following activities:

Specification of technical requirements in accordance with set methodologies
Functional and non functional requirements gathering
Preparation of use case and functional specifications
Working alongside development professionals to design technical, application solutions
Defining current and future operational scenarios including processes, models and plans

The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record in delivering business solutions for major Oil & Gas projects. They will be highly adept in the identification of workflow processes, document data processing requirements and elicitation and definition of both technical and non technical requirements. You will be a proven negotiator with excellent presentation and communication skills.

The following areas of experience are essential:

Experience within the tracking and accounting of hydrocarbon quantities and qualities throughout the production process
Understanding of accessing and validating Real Time data produced by process control systems, preferably with experience of Tieto Energy Components and OSI Soft Pi.
