ROLE Business Analyst - HR/Payroll - Retail Banking - SAP Payroll - Halifax - £380/day

PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAMME

Our client, a major UK retail bank require the services of a Business Analyst to review and implement changes required under the HR/Payroll streams.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

- To co-ordinate and support the investigation, analysis, testing and implementation of Annual and Legislative projects for HR Systems.
- Carry out in depth analysis to understand the impact of proposed Payroll and legislative changes and produce detailed requirements documentation, to a high quality and in a clear format to ensure that system and business requirements are developed to specification and within the agreed timescales. 
- Ensure that documentation is written according to current specifications and within agreed timescales. 
- Develop, manage and support robust end to end test plans in line with agreed standards.
- Co-ordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing for the changes implemented.
- Ensure effective provision of control, monitoring, testing and support procedures including process documentation and end-user communication.
- Provide support for implementation as appropriate

CORE SKILLS

- Strong Payroll/Legislative knowledge to specifically support delivery (including requirements and testing) for RTI/Pensions Auto-Enrolment/Sharesave/Tax Year End/Start
- Strong Project Management specifically around planning, risk and issue management, testing methodologies, status reporting and stakeholder management
- Excellent Communication/Influencing skills
- Good understanding of the SAP Payroll system (infotypes and supporting processes)

DESIRABLE SKILLS

- Core Payroll and Legislative knowledge - must be able to hit the ground running
