Job Description
Requirements analysis and documentation
keeping an eye on the technical constrains and potential evolution of existing NM systems.
Follow-up of the relevant subject during development and deployment phases.
Participation to prototyping (as Business Analyst or up to software development if applicable) as a means to better elicitate requirements.
TO/NSE responsibility includes business analysis and service requirements gatherings for the NM technical services. The candidate is to work on the requirements for NM Technical Services as defined in the NM Technical Service Catalogue
Provide coaching and support on Requirements Management process, methodology
Provide training and support to Business Analysts within the TO/NSE Team
Elicitiation and elaboration of requirements taking into account NM systems architecture, design and technical constraints for FBs of the NM Releases
Development/maintenance of service requirements according to internal processes (mainly RAP and PM) in HP ALM.
Migration of existing requirements and models to the new requirements management tool.
Provision of training for internal stakeholders, ie high level description of relevant topics.
FB, Functional Block; a set of user requests grouped in a project within an NM Release.
PM, Project Management.
RAP, Requirements and Architecture process Definition.
oSkills
At least 3 years' experience as business analyst of large mission critical systems,
At least 3 years' experience as business analyst in large software development projects,
Knowledge of one or more of the following domains: Flight planning, Flow management, Airspace information
Strong competences in working with requirement management systems and modelling tools such as HP-ALM and Enterprise Architect.
Advanced competences and experience in requirements analysis and use case modelling using techniques such as Volere.
Very good interpersonal skills to communicate with the stakeholders (users, architects, developers, testers, support teams, ).
Very good technical writing and presentation skills.
Additionally this profile shall comprise solid and proven business analyst experience in several of the following domains:
*Safety critical systems, high availability systems,
*Real Time, mission critical systems,
Data architecture, Datamodelling, DB tools, DB design (Oracle, SQL)
Technical and professional competences
Ability to write technical documents in English
Knowledge of Requirements Management tool HP-ALM
Knowledge of Modeling tools like EA
Proficiency with MS Office tools (PPT, Excel, Word, Visio).
All missions are on site in Brussels and for a period of several years. Language is English (French and Dutch are an advantage).
