BUSINESS ANALYST - HEDGE FUNDS - PROPERTY - FUND STRUCTURES- SHORT SELLING - REGULATORY CHANGE

PROJECT SUMMARY:

The project will deliver the regulatory changes from the short-selling regulations, a new mandatory European regulation.

ROLE SUMMARY:

- To document all requirements, analysis and assumptions for a piece of new regulation.
- working with key stakeholder to analyse the impacts of the new regulation on fund structures, authorisation, capital requirements, organisational requirements and disclosure requirements for investors and regulators.
- Agree and document with stakeholders the options and our recommended approach
- Maintain the requirements catalogue
- Facilitate requirement workshops and education sessions both within the business and with third party partners
- Pull together the reporting and monitoring solution

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in investment/asset management and regulatory change.
- The BA will have experience engaging with a wide range of stakeholders to elicit business requirements and translate them into "future state" processes that will ensure regulatory compliance against a range of initiatives, in very tight timeframes.
- The business analyst will have experience of dealing with third party service providers, such as depository partners and external legal advisers.
- Strong Excel analytical skills.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

Confidence in a regulatory change environment where regulations are not always understood.
