Business Analyst, Global Bank, London

A leading Global Banking Group is looking to onboard a Business Analyst on a 6 month contract paying between £400 - £600 per day. The successful candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise, Banking (ideally Tier 1 investment or High Profile corporate banking) experience and impeccable interpersonal skills. The role is based in Bankside, London.

We are looking for a candidate to be available at short notice for interview, and willing to start either at the end of December or at the beginning of January.

Key Interpersonal and Communication requirements:

* Excellent stakeholder management skills. Experience dealing with high level directors and senior managers, and delivering high workloads to tight deadlines
* Experience working and participating within project working groups, steering committees etc
* A clear, concise communicator
* Excellent spoken and written English
* Diplomatic personality and a confident negotiator
* Strong attention to detail
* Proactive, driven and innovative in approach to work

Key Candidate capabilities:

* Experience working in an end to end project environment
* Able to capture business, system and IT requirements
* Able to document requirements
* Experience working in multiple locations (across the UK, in varying teams, liaising with Global Offices)
* Experience operating within Waterfall or Agile environments
* UAT testing experience
* Excellent business process analytics experience
* A range of systems experience
* An IT background, such as IT Business Analyst / Business Test Analyst would be helpful

Ideal Candidate Background:

All applications are welcome but candidates with the following vocational experience will stand a strong chance: Over 5 years Major Tier 1 Banking Experience (Corporate, Investment, Global Banking, i.e. Barclays, HSBC, JPMorgan, BAML, UBS, RBS etc.) and / or large consultancy experience.
