My client is looking for a Business Analyst with experience with Fund Accounting from a technical point of view. My client is one of the investment banks based in Dublin, Ireland.
This role is a 6 months contract which will then turn to perm.
Job Summary
Business Analyst with strong oral and analytical skills. Minimum 7-10 years of experience working with complex funds projects. Expertise in Fund Accounting and able to work both independently and in a team setting.
Job Description
Work with the business staff to produce comprehensive requirements and detailed specifications for existing and new financial functionality, interfaces, and reports. Analyse enhancement requests, defects and other issues, translating them into professional specifications. Translate customer product requirements into comprehensive, complete and accurate business requirements. Manage/Document outstanding requests/issues/defects into summary format for weekly status to the user group for prioritisation and subsequently to Steering Committee and project sponsors for approval of priorities. Maintain the database of enhancement requests, issues and bugs, recording status, monitoring progress and acquiring user specifications. Act as a subject matter expert in Funds Reporting, web interface product.
Job Skills
*Experience with SQL is required
*Expertise in the Funds industry
*Experience with client reporting
*Strong written and oral communication skills
*Working knowledge of the Internet, current web-technology - including familiarity with Client Server networking, relational database structures, and data warehousing
*Experience with Microsoft Office is essential
Minimum 7 years working with complex Fund Accounting projects
Fund Accounting, SQL and SDLC experience are required for this role.
