For our banking client in Zurich, we are looking for a Business Analyst/Front Office
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months initial contract + very likely extensions
Location: Zurich
Job description
* Experience in Business Analysis and Project Management
* Good understanding of derivative instruments in the FX market/FX Options
* Contribute to various internal projects as FENICS representative
* Review, definition and execution of IT and business concepts for FENICS
* Experience in working in a large financial institution
Break down of duties
50% of the time contributing to various internal projects as FENICS. About 35% is spent on coordinating with various stake holders ie business users, business engineers, production support for testing. About 10-15% time spent 3rd Level Support
Essential skills
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a business analysis role
-Good understanding of FX derivatives instruments. Good knowledge of GFI/FENICS
- Must be able to produce high quality functional and technical documentation intended for business users as well as development teams
- Possess excellent communication skills and inter-personal skills;
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment is essential
Desirable skills
- Experience in supporting trading desks
- 3rd level support for FENICS incident and problem handling will be taught
