Senior Business Analyst
Senior Business Analyst required for utilities company in Brussels Dutch and French essential.
You will be responsible for the maintenance and development of one or more applications which are used within the company's business with attention to quality, scope, planning and budget.
The service forms the interface between the business and the IT project leader
12 month contract commencing 1st August 2018.
40 hour working week.
Experience Required:
Has relevant experience as a senior business analyst over a number of years
Experience in the tool selection process as a result of market surveys.
Demonstrable practical experience in BPMN and UML.
Has an affinity for IT tools and is interested in the utilities sector.
Knowledge of the Agile methodology is a plus.
Dutch and French required. English is desirable.
The position involves:
Contributing to the modelling of business processes, the IT tools to support them and guidelines to use these tools.
Writing specifications for the applications, having them validated by the business and prioritizing these changes in different releases.
Validating the functional analysis of IT
After IT development, testing and validating the changes together with the business and its eventual implementation.
Maintaining contacts with the business, IT, other business analysts
Management of master data and the governance of business processes
Providing training materials and training to the end users.
Acting as a contact point for all requests and complaints from the users, hierarchy and other stakeholders
Support for the business architecture project that is going on. Participate in market surveys for selection of standard tools and help to prepare RFPs and the eventual implementation of the chosen solution (s).
