Business Analyst for Trade Reporting, OTC Derivatives, Banking, Englis

For our client, an international bank with a global reach, Swisslinx are looking for a highly motivated Business Analyst with strong experience in derivatives and ideally regulatory topics for a trade reporting project in Zurich with a strong potential for extension starting ASAP.

This is a six month contract with a good chance of multiple extensions.

BUSINESS ANALYST FOR TRADE REPORTING, OTC DERIVATIVES, BANKING, ENGLISH (CONTRACT, ZURICH)

To operate under the direct supervision of the Project Manager, with the following responsibilities:

- To assist the Business team in the production of the Business Requirements Documents, in light of existing and expected regulation
- To produce of the IT Functional Requirements Documents, which will mostly consist of Requests for Change of existing applications and integration flows, in line with the purposes set forth in the Business Requirements, with the consent of the respective Business Application Owners and IT Application Owners, in cooperation with the project's Solution Architect and following the guidance of the Program Architect; said documents shall include the acceptance test cases for the respective requirements.
- To support the production of Realization Offer documents.
- To support the several Application Owners for issues and clarifications during software development
- To support the testing team
- To support the application owners during and immediately after the go-live
- To support the Business throughout the process

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

- Experience as a business analyst on regulatory projects in the trading/Front Office area
- Strong knowledge of financial derivatives across full life cycle (listed and OTC, all asset classes)
- Regulatory project experience nice to have (affinity with EMIR, Dodd Frank, FinfraG etc)
- Strong business requirement, process analysis and documentation knowhow
- Fluent in English (German advantageous)
- Open minded and delivery focused
- Strong communication skills
