Business Analyst for the DRR

For our banking client in Zürich we are currently looking for a Business Analyst for the DRR:

DURATION: 6 months

Derivative Regulatory Reform WMI IT Business Analysis We are looking for an experienced analyst, who can help us by providing:
- A comprehensive understanding of FX, Non-FX, ETDs and Other Financial Instruments (Investment Banking Focus within Wealth/Private Banking)
- Trading Knowledge including Trading, Positions, Valuations, Collaterals, Bi-Lateral Margining (non-exhaustive)
- Thought Leadership with respect to direction of the Industry for Transaction & Trade Reporting
- Evaluation of processes, trading products and services including booking models and execution approaches.
- Familiarity with regulatory trade reporting via CFTC, EMIR, FinfraG, MiFID/MiFIR
- Understanding existing solutions for leverage, design change and extensions to existing solutions and find and implement solutions
- Support for program and project management tasks in co-ordinating impact, effort and design of potential solution options
- Guiding the work of more individual branch analysts
- Documentation of IT Design and Specifications

Very Specific:
- Trade Repository Flows (Unavista, Trax, DTCC and REGIS)
- Working knowledge of other divisions including IB and AM

Derivative Regulatory Reform WMI You'll be working in the Derivatives Regulatory Reform Wealth Management International team in Flurstrasse, Zurich. We are core IT team that collaborate with the other functions of Operations, Business, Legal, IPS, Credit and other functions. We work in a cross divisional manner with Group Operations, IB, Asset Management and Group Data with and IT Front to Back Understanding of the Trade Flows for the Wealth Management Locations for the centralized and local trade and transaction reporting solutions.

Your experience and skills You have:
- a degree in Computer Science, banking and finance, or economics
- Senior Architect/IT business analysis in the banking industry
- strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills (you know how to figure things out)

You are:

- a flexible, resilient team player with a positive attitude
- known for your can-do attitude when tackling daily tasks
- fluent in English.
