Business Analyst for Structured Product Order Management

For our banking client in Zürich we are currently looking for a IT Business Analyst for Structured Product Order Manager:

We are looking for a Business Analyst with a strong analytical skill and a fundamental banking knowhow in Securities Trading/Structured Products and the interfacing IB systems.

A IT Business Analyst will be engaged with finding solutions to business initiatives mainly in the portfolio of Structured Products for a multi-issuer capable IT Solution. During the project phases she/he will work closely together with your colleagues of the BA Team III and other interfacing pools. Software design/implementation and quality assurance will be done by the dedicated teams, based on the user stories, use cases, business rules and finally acceptance criteria the IT Business Analyst has defined. She/He will be working very close with the business and has a close collaboration with the design/development and the quality assurance team.

Role Description:

. Understand the requirements and challenge the various stakeholders
. Evaluate high level requirements in terms of feasibility and efforts (costs/benefit)
. Identify the impact on interfacing solutions
. Generate Business Rules/Use Cases and the corresponding Software Requirement Specifications
. Review test cases, support of the testing units in test design and execution
. Support the project manager in BA related topics
. Close collaboration with offshore teams

Mandatory Skills:

. Experience in Financial Services industry
. Experience in Securities Trading IT solution (Order Manager)
. Experience with Structured products based on FX/Equities and OTC Derivatives
. Experience with Life Cycle Management (eg Barrier Touch, Repayment) of Structured Products
. Experience with User Interface designing and Web Services is a plus
. Experience with message protocols/technologies (XML, FIX, IBT) is a plus
. Independent, systematic and structured approach and way of working (eg Use Cases, Activity Diagrams, UML)
. Strong analytical and problem solving skills
. Initiative acting and dedicated commitment as well as excellent organizational skills and keen perception
. High awareness of quality and deadlines
. Very good written and spoken English
