Business Analyst for Global Windows 10 Migration

Harvey Nash is looking for a Senior Business Analyst for global Windows 10 Migration for a 7 + month project in Switzerland.

The role is for a Business Analyst to elicit and validate the requirements for the Windows 10+ project.

You are responsible for

* Owning the task of requirements collection, documentation and validation and guide the project team members to get to a good set of requirements
. Organizational Change Management (OCM) and Migration Coordination: Working closely together with the projects OCM Expert to identify the stakeholders, validating the migration approach with the sites and business stakeholders, and document requirements for communication and training
. Platform Provisioning: Engineer Requirements for Windows 10 image and Internet Explorer 11 package (incl. upgrade requirements)
. Application Readiness: Requirements for application readiness testing
. Eliciting and validating requirements for IT Quality, Legal, Security etc.
. Facilitating workshops and conduct interviews
. Obtaining buy-in from all affected stakeholders for the respective requirements
. Facilitating sign-off process
. Ensuring the requirements are properly cascaded and understanding by the respective work streams
. Ensuring requirements are implemented according to the requirements specifications

Requirements

* University degree in IT preferred
. 5 years of relevant experience in multinational company
. Candidate must be able to work with requirements for engineering (Win10 Image, IE11 Software Package) as well as organizational requirements (requirements for Migration Strategy, Service Introduction etc.)
. Ideally having worked together with one or more business functions and IT in the past
. Strong negotiation skills and proven track record in getting to decisions/sign-offs
. Experience in workshop facilitation
. Track record of business analysis activities successfully on projects
. Structured approach, problem-solving, flexible and self-directed with analytical skills
. Excellent English language skills, additional languages a plus
. Experience in desktop migration projects a plus
. Desired: CSV background and experience in working with IT Quality
. High proficiency in working virtually is a must
. Working language is English
