Business Analyst for Credit Risk Application Development (Contract)

For an international financial institution in Zurich we are seeking a highly motivated professional to take up the following challenge:
BUSINESS ANALYST FOR CREDIT RISK APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT (CONTRACT)
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Elicits, analyses, models and validates business requirements, conditions and priorities as well as elaborates solution concepts within application development projects in the Credit Risk domain
- Identifies all affected applications, processes and interfaces and perform a stakeholder analysis
- Creation of standard requirements engineering deliverables (clear and detailed functional and non-functional requirements specifications, use cases/-model, business-/domain object model, UI mockups and further
- Supports developers and testers during technical implementation and testing phase
- Provides subject matter expertise to support the development and validation of quality assurance, application architecture, testing and other project deliverables
REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years' experience in business analysis and/or requirements engineering in application development projects in international banking/finance environments with Credit Risk domain know-how
- Excellent knowledge of use case modelling
- Solid understanding of architecture diagrams (mostly UML component diagrams)
- Strong analytical problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to handle diverse stakeholders
- Strong ability to work independently and to work collaboratively in a team
- Highly advantageous are the following skills:
- Experience in process design and modelling (Oracle OBPM)
- Business engineering education and/or certificate
- Knowledge in business engineering process standards and techniques; Polarion, Balsamiq, Subversion, JIRA, Enterprise Architect, HP Quality Center, SQL, etc.
- Fluency in English and German is a MUST
CONTRACT DETAILS
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 6 months (extension highly possible)
- Daily Rate: CHF 870.- all inclusive
- Location: Zurich
Only candidates who are Swiss or EU residents or currently hold a valid Swiss work permit can be considered.
