BUSINESS ANALYST FOR A GLOBAL TREASURY IT PROJECT

On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance, we are looking for a BUSINESS ANALYST. For this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English and German speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.

Your main responsibilities will be:

- Elicit, analyze, document, specify and manage requirements and business processes
- Independently investigate business problems and formulate solution proposals
- Participating in integration and user acceptance testing
- Adoption of common standards, processes and tools across own deliverables
- Creating Entity Relationship diagrams, database models and UML diagrams
- Stakeholder management
- International and agile environment

The skills and experience needed for this position are:

- 3+ years of experience in Business Analysis and Requirements Engineering in banking IT projects
- Experience in Treasury topics:
- cashflow hedge accounting
- risk management
- asset/liability management
- Flexible and open-minded towards new methodologies and technologies like Kanban/Scrum and Test Driven Development
- Ability to read Java and PL/SQL source code
- Solid SQL knowledge and ability to apply it in day-to-day work
- Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
- Proactive and reliable personality who works independently
- Project management experience
