For our client, one of the most instantly recognizable brands in the banking sector, Swisslinx are looking for a highly motivated Business Analyst with knowledge of the financial risk domain (credit or market risk) for a new 6 month contract in Zurich with a strong potential for extension.

This is a 6 month contract starting ASAP, however the latest starting date is start of April 2015.

BUSINESS ANALYST, FINANCIAL RISK MANAGEMENT, BANKING, ENGLISH (CONTRACT, ZURICH)

In this new role as business analyst you will work on a program to implement the local margin regulations for non-centrally cleared OTC derivatives following the BCBS/IOSCO recommendations. The new rules will require to process initial and variation margin for counterparties as specified in the legislations.

Your role will be to collect initial and variation margins that will require the adaption of processes and systems within credit risk management (CRM).

The business analyst role comprises the following tasks:

- Analyse today's as is' CRM process and its IT infrastructure; identify and assess solutions to comply with the new BCBS/IOSCO rules in corporation with the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
- Define business requirements, coordinate with SMEs and ensure sign-off of requirements by responsible
- Act as an interface between Business and IT, support IT to develop the technical specification and drive the implementation of the requirements to ensure timely delivery
- Define and perform test cases based on the business requirements
- Support the project management by providing regular status reports
- Coordinate with international locations (no travelling expected)

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

- Minimum 5 years of relevant business analysis and functional specification design experience
- Financial risk management (credit and/or market risk) background
- Collateral management and derivative know how
- Experience in one of the areas: FinfraG, EMIR, BCBS/ISOCO
- Good understanding in risk management procedures and methodologies
- Excellent written and spoken communication in English language (German beneficial)
- Ability to work autonomously and problem solve
