Business Analyst/E-commerce/SOAP/Financial Markets

My client is currently looking for an excellent business analyst to join an e-products team. The business analyst will be the primary liaison between business and IT and will be gathering business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and IT solutions while keeping the interest of the customer in mind.

Responsibilities for the business analyst will include: -
-Your primary work are is system improvements and process modelling/analysis in multiple functional domains
-Define solutions and project scope/objectives through research, fact finding, and elicitation with a solid understanding of business, systems, and requirements
-Discuss and explain solutions with involved stakeholders
-Prepare and update requirements documentation
-Assist in developing, testing, and deploy solutions

To be considered for this opportunity you must have: -
-HBO/WO or College degree, preferably in Business, Economics, and/or Information Technology
-At least 2 years of experience as a business analyst in an international environment
-Working knowledge of Use Case diagrams and Use Case specifications
-Knowledge and experience with financial markets products (eg equity derivatives, FX/MM products) and E-commerce trends
-Strong knowledge and experience with front and Back Office systems
-Affinity with interfaces, performance challenges, GUI design, and SOAP (web) services.
-Knowledge and experience with software engineering methodologies, preferably Agile/SCRUM
-Excellent communication skills in English as well as in Dutch

This is a fantastic contract opportunity with the likelihood of multiple extensions.
