Business Analyst - Finance Transformation

Business Analyst -  Finance transformation program
 Major Transformation Program
 Initial 2 Month (Possible extension) Contract

This large government organisation is seeking a Business Analyst with experience in large finance transformation projects. Experience with large finance transformation programs is essential and Business Intelligence experience would be a bonus.

Your role will be to review existing Finance processes, identify impacts of the change, and define and implement changes. This includes:

Core processes - financial management reporting, month end close, journals, accruals, balance sheet reconciliation and forecasting
 Process centralisation
 Transfer of process ownership and knowledge between teams and entities

Many of the process changes will result in systems changes and the role holder should have an appreciation for the impacts on underlying systems.

You will be responsible for:

1.Proactive engagement and contribution to the work-stream team, to produce quality deliverables in accordance with the program schedule. Deliverables include:

- Confirming detailed process and reporting requirements
- Configuration requirements and configuration for solutions
- User acceptance test planning and preparation
- Operational readiness verification
- Post go live support

2.Analysing process related data and defining new financial and operational metrics
Supporting deployment activities to facilitate the implementation of program deliverables. This may include:

- Providing input on deployment strategies
- Providing input to the communication and change plan
- Supporting the post implementation review
