Business Analyst - Finance Sector

Experienced BUSINESS ANALYST required with specific background/experience in FUND MANAGEMENT/investment management INDUSTRY SECTOR. Major institution looking to replace their existing accounting/finance systems. You will be involved in the initial ANALYSIS and preparation of BUSINESS CASES and use your broad knowledge of different ACCOUNTING SYSTEMS to make the necessary recommendations to drive the project forward. You will provide ongoing analysis on changing requirements and deliver USE CASES and ACTIVITY DIAGRAMS.

Essential Experience: You will ideally have an IMC or similar industry sector qualifications and a demonstrable track record of success within the FINANCE ARENA. You must have worked in a DEDICATED BUSINESS ANALYST CAPACITY with an INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT type organisation. You will have the ability to develop excellent business cases and requirements documents and develop and execute test plans. You will demonstrate a collaborative approach with developers and have knowledge of analysis within an AGILE DEVELOPMENT (ideally SCRUM) environment.

You will have IN-DEPTH knowledge of ACCOUNTING SYSTEMS (Sun, Oracle, SAP etc) and their use within Finance Sector organisations. Your experience will have included work in the IDENTIFICATION and SELECTION PROCESS of a NEW ACCOUNTING SYSTEM for a major City organisation. Strong communication skills and an ability to influence decision makers. Any experience of billing and Datawarehouse systems would be advantageous.
