Business Analyst, Finance Job

BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST, FINANCIAL/BANKING SERVICES needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Bellevue, WA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Business System Analyst in banking/financial services
- Mobile Payment BA/BSA experience
- Technical understanding of business systems

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Analyze and initiate business process improvements across wide range of processes, data, systems and business areas; set direction and policy within span of control. Resolve highly complex issues escalated by the business team using simple, non-technical language.
- Consult with IT Personnel in a more technical manner and other business areas (ie Legal and Compliance) to help with resolutions.
- Manage and successfully deliver solutions to highly complex projects as well as lead the direction of others.
- Define scope, objectives and requirements on moderately to high complex projects. Assists in defining and designing system/business/data requirements and recommends solutions to moderately complex business needs.
- Ownership of analysis and implementation of regulatory routings to ensure compliance.
- Manage updates to prospectus and contract language to ensure business practices are compliant.
- Assist in defining, developing, and providing information and analysis to drive and support decision-making for moderately to high complex processes and business operations for internal and external customers.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- 6-8+ years of experience as a Business System Analyst in banking/financial services
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills.
- 3+ years of experience as a Payment/Mobile Payment BA/BSA required
- Advanced levels of analysis and independence.
- Solid understanding of testing tools
- Technical expertise and advanced understanding across many functional areas
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to deliver and drive multiple parallel deliverables.
- Demonstrated ability to be successful in ambiguous environments
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem solving skills, including the ability to break down complex issues.
- Experience facilitating meetings and/or group discussions
- Advanced working knowledge of systems design process and methodology as well use of systems tools, Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
