Business Analyst - Finance - General Ledger

My client, a market leading banking organisation is looking for an experienced Finance BA to join on a 6 month contract to assist with a global Ledger Transformation Programme.

The principal responsibilities of the role are to work across areas in Finance, Risk and Treasury to:
oGather and analyse business requirements,
oDevelop & document business processes,
oDevelop as necessary the operating model

ESSENTIAL:
*Proven track record of working in complex projects within a banking or finance environment and delivering results to tight deadlines and resource constraints
*Experience of working in an International/multinational Financial Services preferred
*Experience of working in multi-disciplined teams across several geographies, with excellent interpersonal & communication skills

TECHNICAL:
*Experience of working on the delivery of Oracle's General Ledger toolset in large tier 1 or financial institution
*Strong understanding of ledgers, especially in relation retail, corporate and investment banking products
*Strong business analysis experience including process mapping (UPN, iDEF0, BPMN)
*Process reengineering incl. waste identification techniques such as LEAN/Six SIgma
*Strong personal ownership and high delivery focus
*Experience of managing requirements definition and documentation
*Experience in Microsoft Office applications including Visio and MS Project
*Experience of finance reporting systems and processes
