Project Manager/Business Analyst - FATCA - Rates/Credit - Banking - London

A specialist consultancy has an excellent opportunity for a FATCA Business Analyst to work on one of our projects within a tier 1 Investment Banking client in their Rates and Credit group.

You will be joining a Front Office technology team in order to ensure FATCA compliance across all product lines within the bank. This team is constructing a Black Box solution - you will have input during the completion stage. You will help resolve issues and will answer questions such as whether the Client documentation should be changed to state that tax has been withheld

You will have excellent communication skills as you will be working with SME's and will be creating detailed requirement documents. You will be required to perform Gap analysis, build the project plan, identify the source of information and also establish current state of the project, including a list of stakeholders and compile a draft of the list of workflows that are impacted by FATCA.You will also present project plans outlining critical paths and weak spots to relevant stakeholders.

The role is best suited to someone who has prior knowledge of FATCA and a proven background in Business Analysis within the investment banking industry. You must be delivery focused and be able to get things done in a timely manner. You should be able to discuss previous similar projects.

We are looking for a BA who has worked within Rates, Credit and OTC Derivatives business area and who will be able to drive the project forward. We would expect you to have a strong understanding of front to back trading flows and a good understanding of FATCA legislation.
