Business Analyst - EUC

We are currently seeking a Business Analyst with experience in End User Computing or SOE projects to analyse and document requirements & constraints associated with the use of software within PC labs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED:

- Identify & map the relationships between applications and Windows PC lab usage.
- Work with IT Procurement to establish licensing constraints & entitlements in relation to the identified applications.
- Assist the Project Manager in estimating costs likely to be incurred in introducing virtualised use of existing software.
- Contribute to the preparation of appropriate business case documentation & communications to stakeholders.

Essential skills and experience required:

- Demonstrated analysis of software licensing and constraints in a EUC or SOE style project, ideally related to virtualisation.
- Experience with analysing and presenting data so as to identify trends, and forecast utilisation based on historic data.
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to extract & summarise information from stakeholders with other priorities.
- A concise writing style, with experience contributing to business case development for an executive audience.
- Experience working in higher education & familiarity with a wide variety of software used by students is highly desirable.
- Working, recent knowledge and experience with Citrix XenApp & XenDesktop is advantageous.
