Business Analyst - ETL - Federal Government

One of the ACT's most established government departments is looking to appoint two experienced BUSINESS ANALYST to work within the Business Intelligence department you will work with the team to develop high level information requirements, detailed requirements and reporting specifications for developing data warehouse solutions

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL ALSO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR, BUT NOT LIMITED TO;

- Analysis and documentation of data and development of models supporting datamarts, cubes and reporting solutions
- Enhancement of procedures supporting the data warehouse development and specification process
- Analysis and identification of data integration opportunities where possible and ongoing development of conformed dimensions to be used across the warehouse
- Data profiling and data quality monitoring/escalation

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL NEED TO MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA;

- Demonstrated experience in Data Warehouse projects specifically in the areas of scope and requirements definition, functional design, dimensional Datamodelling and ETL (Extract Transform Load) specification
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both individually and as a team member
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with exceptional technical and business stakeholder management capabilities
